This photo was taken during one of our tours with storyteller Amanda at a location known as "The Grove," which is an actual battle location for the battle of East Cemetery Hill on Day 2 of the battle of Gettysburg.

The tree is a witness tree.

Amanda is a history enthusiast that developed her passion by traveling the country in the back seat of her parent's car when moving location to location for her father's military career.  She has a strong affinity for American History primarily focused on the Civil War.  She became interested in the paranormal as a teenager, and that interest and fascination has only grown.  Amanda is also an animal lover.  By day, her job is a Veterinary Technician.  Her number 1 role is mom to her son, Cayden, and wife to her husband Nick.  Sleepy Hallow has allowed her to combine her passions of history and the paranormal with a love of working with people to provide the ultimate entertainment for her tour groups.
