Amanda is a history enthusiast that developed her passion by traveling the country in the back seat of her parent's car when moving location to location for her father's military career. She has a strong affinity for American History primarily focused on the Civil War. She became interested in the paranormal as a teenager, and that interest and fascination has only grown. Amanda is also an animal lover. By day, her job is a Veterinary Technician. Her number 1 role is mom to her son, Cayden, and wife to her husband Nick. Sleepy Hallow has allowed her to combine her passions of history and the paranormal with a love of working with people to provide the ultimate entertainment for her tour groups.

Cindy's family has deep roots in Gettysburg. Her family as been in Gettysburg since the 1700's, she is the sixth generation granddaughter to Nicholas Codori who owned the Historic Codori Farm (the site of Pickett's Charge). Her grandfather was Eisenhower's messenger boy during WWII. She opened this tour company in 1997 at a local B&B, reopening at a new location under the name "Sleepy Hollow Candlelight Ghost Tours." Throughout her life Cindy has experienced countless "intuitive" feelings that her own family have come to "respect, listen to and recognize as something to pay attention to". During her years owning the second oldest ghost tour company in Gettysburg, she has had the privilege of working with what she feels are the best storytellers in all of Gettysburg as well as meeting many wonderful patrons along the way. It is with continued commitment that she and her guides maintain the integrity of entertaining you with local haunts and legends while sharing the history, human interest and paranormal tales of Gettysburg. She feels that the stories shared are "a tribute to what happened here" and is honored to have you join her guides on a journey into the realms of the unknown.

Cindy Smithson has many psychic gifts. Empathy, clairvoyant, clairsensitive, clairaudio. She has been a Civil Reenactor for 9 years and is the great great granddaughter of 2 civil war soldiers. One from the North and one from the South. She has been aware of her gifts since early childhood. And has worked with a detective in cold cases, been validated by park rangers who found in the official records, the soldiers who she communicated with. Join her as she shares the history of Seminary Ridge and how it relates to the ghosts still lingering. Perhaps encounter soldiers that still remain. Cindy is a dowser and is very good at channeling its energy to communicate with those whom have passed. She will show you how to communicate with ghosts, guide you to where she sees and feels them. Hear the stories of the spirits caught between both dimensions and understand how they connect to us.

Ed was born in Western Pa and began telling stories at an early age however, the nuns at school didn't appreciate those stories and he soon learned there was a time and a place for them! His parents brought him out to Gettysburg several times as he was growing up and he fell in love with the battlefield and town, coming out through his college years when he could. When the chance to relocate to Gettysburg arose, he jumped on it and has been here ever since. He began telling stories with Sleepy Hollow soon after in 1997 and is one of their original guides. He has been doing tours and enjoying spending time with the guests on those tours for longer than most of the tour companies in town have existed!

"Current research suggests that since the majority of Paranormal Experiences here in Gettysburg have occurred after the battle, it is essential to understand that battle." Ken will definitely prove to you that Gettysburg is HAUNTED ! Be prepared to WALK with Ken, as he escorts you through the streets, alleys, spaces, and haunts of either our Town or Seminary tour. In an earlier life, Ken was a History Teacher, lecturer, and a proclaimed Gettysburg fanatic with 37 years + experience. As he weaves and blends his narrations with history and the paranormal, he will identify and prove to you that the "true" stories of the paranormal experience and presence had their source from the traditional, regimental, and human interest stories compiled since the battle.

Nancy has been telling stories since she was old enough to talk! Her father was a renowned story-teller and Nancy credits him with her love of both hearing and telling stories. Born and raised in the Pittsburgh, PA area, Nancy fell in love with Gettysburg on her first visit here when she was 12 years old and that love affair has lasted until this day. Fate brought her to Gettysburg in 1985, and she had an extreme ghostly encounter in the first month that she lived here! Since then she has experienced hauntings in many places and buildings in Gettysburg and she will share them with you, along with many eerie photos that have been taken on her ghostwalks by those who have joined her on these nocturnal strolls through Gettysburg. The most important thing that she wants to convey is her love and respect for the Union and Confederate men who fought and died here, and the women and children of Gettysburg who were affected by this greatest of Civil War Battles. She will entertain, educate and enlighten you about the real horrors of war and why we DO believe that there are restless souls in Gettysburg.
